Buck Performance Front Lower Extreme Control Arms

Issue:

The front Lower Control Arms (LCAs) on Toyota Supra and Lexus SC models have long faced a recurring problem with their ball joints. When the outer ball joint fails, a perfectly functional arm must be discarded. Furthermore, original equipment (OE) stock is becoming scarce, and there are concerns about discontinued support.

Solution:

To address this issue, we've developed a superior solution - our Extreme replacement arms with serviceable outer ball joints. These rod end LCAs offer a camber range of +/-4 degrees, providing greater flexibility and performance. Here are the key features of our solution:

Features:

  • Precision rod ends and bearings with a PTFE fabric liner for a tight interface to the ball, along with Billet 6061 spacers for optimal performance.
  • Included shock mounting bracket and hardware (if selected as an option).
  • Heavy-duty screw-in ball joint for enhanced durability.
  • Hardware for shock mounting bracket included.
  • Constructed from high-quality Alloy Boxed Steel, proudly made in the USA.
  • Serviceable heavy-duty greaseable lower screw-in ball joint for easy maintenance.
  • Billet Aluminum inner heim spacers for added strength.
  • FKRod Extreme HD PTFE Teflon Lined Hiem Joints Spherical, 3/4 inch Bore for superior performance.
  • Modular heavy-duty shock mount designed to stock specifications.
  • Additional modular heavy-duty shock mount base available for ½” Hiem, catering to users of custom shocks (such as Menscer, Afco, Strange, etc.).
  • Arms with a wider support arch accommodate greater steering angles, especially for cars with modified knuckles that come into contact with the OE arm.
  • Finished with a Black Semi-Gloss Powder coat for a sleek appearance.

Tips:

Additionally, it's crucial to note that maintenance for all rod ends and bearings should be carried out with PTFE dry lube. Avoid using grease, as it can compromise the precise interface between the ball and race in the joint. Spare parts are readily available for rebuilds, with pricing contingent on the specific parts required and individual circumstances. Feel free to reach out to us with any inquiries.
