Fragola's 8000 Series Push-Lite Race Hose is manufactured to the same rigorous standards as their 3000 Series Stainless Race Hose. It is the perfect alternative when cost or weight is the main consideration. The 8000 Series Push-Lite Race Hose may be used in any number of automotive applications. If you are using fittings other than their 8000 Series Push-Lite Hose Ends, be sure to measure the hose barb diameter to determine suitability. This hose is sized fractionally, but the suitability is at the sole determination of the end user.

As a rule of thumb when selecting an A-N hose to replace a given size automotive hose, the dash size is the nominal size in 1/16". For example; -10 A-N, is 10/16" or equivalent 5/8" automotive hose. The AN hose, however, will be slightly smaller due to the wall thickness of the hose. Please reference the chart on the specifications tab for the nominal inside diameter of the hose you are interested in.

Fragola Series 8000 Push-Lite Hose Features:

  • 250 psi maximum working pressure allows for use in most automotive water, oil, and fuel systems.
  • Push-Lite Race hose features an inner layer of synthetic PKR covered with a fiber braid reinforcement, and wrapped with a weather resistant textile cover.
  • Suitable for temperatures up to 300° F.
  • Push-Lite hose assemblies are less than half the weight of the same stainless hose assembly.
  • For high heat or higher pressure applications, Fragola recommends using their Push Lock Clamps and Hi-Temp Push-Lite caps.

Please note: Many people over tighten the aluminum fitting on the adapter, which distorts the 37 degree seat and may cause a leak. Both the threads and the seat surface should have a drop or two of oil to smooth the tightening process. Please reference the chart below for maximum torque specifications. Another method of tightening is to bring the nut to "hand tight" and then rotate it another 1/4 turn with the proper wrench.
